College of Physicians and Surgeons of PEI
The official home page for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of PEI. This site provides information to both the public, and physicians. A physician and publication search is also available.
Harrington House at Rice Point
This is an information and promotional site for a 4 1/2 star vacation cottage. The site features easily updatable content, a testimonials module, and a booking module.
MortgageBusters PEI
This is primarily an information site. It provides information about making your mortgage tax-deductible. There is a useful calculator on it that helps users see if they may be candidates for using their home equity to make money. The procedure is hailed by financial gurus across Canada. If you have questions, be sure to check out the site.
Andy Lambe & Associates Inc.
This is a redesign of an existing site. The look has completely changed, and the site now uses a dynamic framework for content delivery. The site also features an agent management system, RSS news reader, RealAge quiz, and realtime insurance quotations (this work was already existing. Credit: Jevon MacDonald).
Winter River Woods
Winter River Woods is a simple site designed to give buyers a look at lots that are for sale. This site features a content-management system and a lot-management system. The news gathers information about lots as they are sold and makes automatic posts in the news box on the front page.
Weblogs@UPEI
Weblogs@UPEI is running the Drupal content management platform. It is a really robust system that anyone needing a blog or content management system should have a look at. I upgraded the system from Drupal 4.2 to version 4.6. There was some Debian server upgrades and maintenance to be done as well. Be sure to check out the site for all kinds of interesting content from blogs to radio to podcasts.
I am Staying Smokefree
The smokefree website is the most advanced site that I have ever built completely from scratch. All the content on the site is dynamic and the submenus on the site can host an infinate number of subpages that can be ordered however the user wants. The site also features an administrative image gallery, quiz question bank and random quiz generator, as well as very user-friendly content creation tools. The site graphics was done by Heather Mullen, from PEI.
Trade Internship
The International Trade Training & Internship Program at UPEI is run by the UPEI School of Business. It is a really neat program that pairs up motivated individuals with progressive companies. Everyone wins. This site features a huge admin section for updating content and keeping track of students. It also has a student section where students can log in and change their information and check their grades.
Rustico Holiday Home
A warm site highlighting a great PEI destination. Rustico Holiday Home is located in Rustico, Prince Edward Island is a perfect spot to kick up your heels for a week or two during the beautiful PEI summer. This site was designed with warmth in mind and features many Prince Edward Island landscapes as well a large gallery of images of the accomodation.
Right On Island
Educational site for a PEI program that provides information to students about employment opportunities on PEI. Includes several database-driven components, including news, quotes, and a quiz.
